Meet the Staff of Portico at Moss Bank

Sarah

I am the manager. 

I hold the EYP Status (Early Years Professional). I have worked for the company since Nov 2002. I was deputy at Portico Lodge for 3 years, and then manager for 3 years and moved here when we opened in January 2009. I am the SENCO. I am qualified to assess students and am also a mentor for EYP candidates. I am a qualified first aider. I spend half of my time in the office and half in all the rooms.

Heather

I am a senior nursery nurse. I have been with the company since October 2005. I worked at Portico Poppets for 3 years, and have moved here when we opened in Jan 2009. I am the safeguarding children co-ordinator and trained first aider. i am also the student co-ordinator. I work with  the toddlers.

Rachael

I have been with the comapny since Septemeber 2008.

I am the co-ordinator for promoting positive behaviour. I hold the EYP (EarlyYears Professional) Status and a am also a mentor. I work with the preschool group.

Leisha

I have been with the company since January 2009.

I am qualified level 2 nursery nurse, about to enrol on my level 3 training. I am the equal opportunities co-ordinator. I work with young babies.

Linzi

I have been with the company since October 2005. I am qualified Level 3. I have worked at Portico Poppets, and in August 2009 came to Portico at Moss Bank. I am the deputy manager. I am also the health and well being co-ordinator. I work with the babies.

Hannah Shackley - Sykes

I am qualified level 2 nursery nurse. I started out in the company in December 2005 at Portico Lodge as a student. I have worked at Portico Kindergarten and in August 2009 came to Portico at Moss Bank. I am parents as partners co-ordinator. I am completing my CCLD level 3. I work with the toddlers.

Becky

I started when i covered maternity leave in May 2009. I am a level three qualified and have previously done training at the sister nursery portico lodge.  I am the outdoor play co-ordinator. I work with the 2-3's.

Toni

I have been with the company since June 2009. i am completing my CCLD level 2. I am a key worker in the baby room.

Lauren

I have been with the company since June 2009. I am completing my CCLD level 2. I work with the 2-3's group.

Liz

I am the nursery cook. I have been with the company since April 2010.
