Meet the Staff at Lodge

My name is Debbie.

I am the manager of Portico Lodge.

I am NNEB qualified with 14 years experience. I worked in a nursery for 3 years before moving to Portico Lodge in 2003. I have worked here since its first few months of opening, as a senior, then deputy and then started my post as manager in January 2009.

I have 2 children with my partner.

I am parents as partners co-ordinator and the health and safety co-ordinator and I am a qualified first aider.

I also hold my A1 assessors award which allows me to assess students inhouse.

My name is Claire.

After working in 3 other nurseries over a period of 7 years, I joined Portico Lodge 4 years ago. I started as a senior, and have now been promoted. 

I am the deputy manager. I am married with a little girl.

 I am NNEB qualified, and work in the toddler room. I job share with Victoria

I am in charge  of the outdoor play policy.

My name is Victoria.

I am a deputy manager, job sharing with Claire and work as a senior at the end of the week.

I have my NNEB with 11 years experience. I am married with 2 children - a boy and a girl.

I have worked in the pre school room for the past 2 years and now work in the 2-3's room 

I am our safeguarding children officer and student co-ordinator.

My name is Natalie.

I am a senior nursery nurse.

I started here 4 years ago as a student doing my level 2. I am now employed and have completed my NVQ level 3. I work in the preschool room with Stacy.  I am a qualified first aider.

I am the SENCO co-ordinator.

I am also currently completing the early years foundation degree.

My name is Stephanie.

I have a diploma in childcare and education level 3.  I joined the team here in march 07 and worked in the age 2 - 3's room with the older children. I now work in the baby room with Louise and Vicky. I have recently given birth to a baby boy and started maternity leave in February 2010.

I am a  senior nursery nurse.

I am also the equal opportunities co-ordinator.

My name is Stacy Jones, 

I have recently moved here from portico poppets. I have been employed with the company for 7 months and prior to this I completed my training with portico day nurseries and also worked as a supply member of staff for them. I will be expanding my knowlegde of working with the pre-school children.

I am DCE qualified to a level 3.

I am the Environmental co-ordinator.

My name is Vicky.

I have been an E2E student, and was kept on to complete my level 2 training. I have beeen covering maternity leave at Portico Poppets for the last 8 months. I am now back at Lodge working in the baby room, and have  completed my CCLD level 2 and have almost completed my level 3. I am based in the baby room with the under 2's.

I am the Hygiene co-ordinator.

My name is Louise.

I am the cook.

I am married with 3 children - a boy aged 4 and a girl aged 6 and I have recently given birth to another little boy. I have my food hygiene certificate.

I will be starting maternity leave in March 2010.

I am DCE level 3 qualified and have worked for Portico Lodge for just over a year after my traveling in Australia.

I worked at Lodge 4 years ago as a student and have now rejoined the team.

I worked alongside Vicky and Hannah in the baby room working with the older babies.

I have just been promoted to acting senior whilst Stephanie is on maternity leave.

My name is Hannah.

I am a student at Portico Lodge and I am currently completing my level 2.

I have been with the nursery for almost a year now and have worked in the 2-3's room. I have just been taken on as an a new member of staff and will be joining Louise and Vicky in the babyroom and going on to complete my level 3 in childcare.

My name is Rosie.

I am a student at Portico Lodge. I have worked at lodge for over a year now  and have worked in the pre-school room with Natalie and Stacy. I have just been taken on as a member of staff to complete my level 3 and I will joining Claire and Victoria in the 2-3's room.
