Meet the Staff at Poppets

My name is Vicki Cardwell. I am the manager at portico poppets. I hold a NVQ level 3 qualification and I am also a qualified in-house assessor. in july 2010 i gained my early yeras foundation degree and will be starting me Early years professional status in September 2010. I have worked for the company since october 2002. I hold a first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate.

My name is Paula Brown. I am the Deputy Manager. I am qualified to NVQ Level 3. I am a qualified first aider. I work in the baby  room. I have worked for the company since october 2005 . I am also the setting SENCO.

My name is Sam Mercer. I am a  nursery nurse. I have completed a BTEC national diploma in early years. I have worked for the company since october 2005. I am also a qualified first aider.I work with the babies and job share with Emma.

My name is Rebecca Marsh. I am a senior Nursery nurse. I have a Diploma in child care and education Level 3. (NNEB) I am also a qualified assessor for childcare. In september 2008 I started my ccld level 4. I work in the pre-school room. I have worked for the company since october 2005. i am also the safeguarding officer for the nursery.

My name is Emma Fahey. I am qualified up to NVQ level 3. I am also a qualified first aider. I have worked for the company since october 2005. I work in the babyroom and job share with sam.

My name is Charlotte Paterson. I started at Portico Poppets in october 2005 as a training student. I have completed my NVQ Level 3. I am a qualified first aider. I work with the pre-school. i am also the early language lead practitioner for the setting and the parents as partners co ordinator.

My Name is Kristina Duffy, i am qualified level 2. i gained employment at portico poppets after spending 18months completeing my nvq with the team i joined the team in may 2007. i am based in the toddler room.  

my name is Rachel Marsh, I started as the cook at portico poppets in may 2008. I enjoy cooking and love finding new healthy recipes for the children. I am waiting to do my basic food hygiene course.

My name is Kerry Ashton I have worked  for portico day nurseries since febuary 2007 and have a nvq level 3 qualification.. I am a qualified first aider and I am the equal opportunities co-ordinator at portico poppets. I work in the toddler room.

My name is Talia Knockton, i am studying for my level 2 in childcare. i am situated in the 2-5's room.

My name is Nicola Smith. i have just joined the team here at Portico Poppets and i am currently completing my CCLD level 2. i am working in the toddler room.
